Take a deep breath… we're almost there. And while you're at it, chew on this: new home sales increased in April. The Commerce Department reported an increase of 3.3%, the first upward movement in six months.

And recession? What recession? The Gross Domestic Product also increased during the first quarter of 2008. One element of the GDP, Business Construction, rose from a 6.2% decline to an increase of 1.1%.

In the Commercial Real Estate arena, there are gains in some surprising locations. Take Miami, for example, where we've seen a 15.2% increase in spending since last August.
